Code Academy is the guys behind this genius Code Year where they e-mail you a small programming lesson every Monday for free. I never thought I’d want to learn this foreign thing called computer programing/coding, but I’m looking to transition into a mild techie-geek through this un-intimidating looking website. It never hurts to know it when you’re in marketing, and also I just want to create my own beautiful websites one day. 

They’ve gotten a lot of buzz on the internet lately because:

(1) it’s a good product - simple and easy to use that tends to be on a lot of people’s “always-wanted-to-but-never-got-the-chance-to” lists (376,878 of us & counting).

(2) They also strategically timed the launching of their campaign with the launching of the new year - making it a doable 2012 resolution.

(3) They knew to integrate social media seamlessly by prompting you to share your new resolution through Twitter and Facebook to all your friends right after you sign up. 

So cheers to you Code Academy; please help me make something as beautiful as Designer Fund’s website by the end of this year…..right?
